A Top Walker Is You
This past April, I participated in WalkAmerica, the major fundraiser for the March of Dimes. I'm all about the March of Dimes - they fund research and other work to help premature babies. As the parent of a preemie, I know the work they do helped Evan tremendously.
This year, with help from all of you, I raised over $1,000. I was, and continue to be, grateful to everyone who supported me.
Imagine my surprise when the March of Dimes called me today to let me know that I was the top earner in Crawford County for this year's walk. They even dropped off a plaque for me.
How great is that? I couldn't have done it without you. So, pat yourselves on the back, we helped some sick kids - just like they helped my sick kid back in the day.
p.s. I know I still owe some people CD's. I'll get them finally burned this weekend and in the mail to you Monday. Promise.

Posted by: ree at September 29, 2007 12:34 AMWay to go, Mike! That is so awesome! I raised $200 this year, which is pennies compared to what you raised!
Isn't the MOD such a great organization? I can't tell people enough about what they did for the twins.
