Ben Folds Live at Allegheny
I'm not the world's biggest Ben Folds fan. Not so much because I don't like him, I just haven't ever really gotten into him. One thing I do know though - never turn down free tickets to a show, you just might be surprised.
He put on an excellent show last night at Allegheny, and a good time was had by all. He played for nearly 2 hours (including a quick break to change a piano string he broke. I've never seen or heard someone break a piano string before). He played a lot of solo material but surprisingly also played some Ben Folds Five stuff.
If you get a chance to see him - do so.
The Fray opened, and they were pretty decent as well. They were a free download on iTunes just a few weeks ago.
