Free XM Radio
I've been an XM Radio subscriber for the last few months and it's cool to see the company growing and doing exciting things. For example, did you know that if you have DirecTV you can listen to XM channels including Opie and Anthony?
If you don't have XM, here's a cool deal I found on the web. If you visit this site, which is for XM Friends and Family, and enter xm@xmradio.com as the email address (I've seen lots of different email addresses), you can get huge discounts on XM hardware, including one unit that's free and includes a car kit (not to mention free shipping).
I first saw this deal mentioned on Orbitcast I think, but it was also on this Fark thread today. A quick search using Gnosh finds this page as well.
The catch? You've got to pay for 3 months of service up front, but if you're already a subscriber, the extra unit costs $6 a month.
I get nothing out of this deal, I'm just an XM fan, though I may pick up one of the free units for Christmas.
