Happy Anniversary
Seven years ago today, I married my best friend. Smartest decision I ever made - signing her to a long-term deal as opposed to just using the franchise tag.
I'm not just saying this because it was my own wedding, but it was the best wedding I've ever been to. There was a BBQ, softball games, major injuries and a chocolate-chip cookie cake.
We've had quite the adventure over the last seven years. Several jobs, living in a couple of different cities, two amazing kids, and now this new house we get to make our own. The time has flown by, which is good.
It's easy to get caught up in the kids, the tantrums, work, stress, etc, but at the end of the day, we've never been stronger.
Just this morning, we were serenaded by Evan. Here are the lyrics to his song if anyone wants to write some music:
