Happy Birthday, Evan!

January 19, 2004
I cannot even start to fathom that Evan is two years old today. What an incredible, amazing, difficult, scary, exciting, terrifying two years for all of us. That picture, by the way, is from the other night, post spaghetti dinner.
Here are some links to the posts we made the day he was born.
This is the first post I added here right after he was born. If you keep reading the archives for January 2002, you'll get a better picture as to my state of mind at the time.
This post is the first one I added to Evan's site right after he was born. It gives a little bit of insight into what happened the day he was born.
This is Jennifer's first post after coming home from being in the hospital.
I'm so glad we're all happy and healthy. Life is good. We've come along so much since his first days...So, Evan, when you're reading this someday, Happy Second Birthday! You've had an amazing life so far.

Posted by: Richard at January 21, 2004 10:57 AMHe's adorable! It's amazing how fast it does go. My youngest will be 2 in April and it seems like just yesterday that I brought him home...and that last picture there is what my oldest looked like after he was born...I was so scared, as I'm sure you were too. It makes seeing them grow up all the more special. Enjoy Evan's birthday!
