I stink at fantasy football

Posted September 17, 2007

Further proof I shouldn't be playing fantasy football:

In week 1, my receiving core and RB's (other than LT) stunk out the joint. Proof:

Braylon Edwards: 1 fumble lost, 0 pts
Jamal Lewis: 1 fumble lost, -1 pts
Joey Galloway: 72 yds receiving, 3 points

So for week 2 I revamped my offense a bit, bringing in some new receivers, who promptly stunk. Let's look at who I sat for these guys. These are their stats just for week 2:

Braylon Edwards: 195 yds, 2 TD, 21 points
Jamal Lewis: 250 yards, 1 TD, 32 points
Joey Galloway: 135 yards, 2 TD, 20 points

Not surprisingly, I am losing my game this week big time. To win, Antwaan Randle El needs to catch 6 touchdown passes and go for 200 yards receiving. I think he can.

Man, Ron, you are stinking up everyone's fantasy football teams, lol. Just Kidding!

Mike, Ron whipped my behind this week, too. 117.8 to my measly 78.7. Calvin Johnson had 32.9 points! I have no one to compare to that!

Here's to good luck next week :)

If it makes you feel any better Mike, I'm in the same position in a league I've played in for the last 6 years. I even had first round pick this year because I came in dead last last year. This season is starting off no different with big losses both this and last week. Damn it.
