Sprainsgiving

Posted November 21, 2007

It takes a special person to fall up a hill carrying groceries.

A winner is me.

I fell up the hill in front of the house Monday night and sprained my shoulder pretty good. A trip to the ER is always a good time in my book, and while there are no broken bones, I have to see a orthopedic surgeon to see if there's ligament damage. I'm still in considerable pain 2 days later so I'm guessing yes.

If I play my cards right, I can have a great Thanksgiving, starting tonight with some prescription pain medication, then turkey and tryptophan tomorrow, and then back the pain meds. If I successful, I won't be back until Monday morning.
