24 Spoilers below...stop if you don't want to know...

I don't believe that Tony is dead. Here's why:

There was no silent clock. Are you telling me that Edgar Stiles is more important than Soul Path? I don't think so. Though Palmer and Michelle didn't get it when they died, if I remember correctly.

Tony is tougher and smarter then most CTU agents. How could he let Robocop just punk him like that. He should know better.

If he does in fact turn out to be dead, Jack is going to be pissed - more so then normal.

If they keep killing people who's going to be left for next season? And who's next to die? Kim? Chloe? Audrey? Behrooz (where did he end up from season 4?), Kate Warner?

Let's look at the CTU agents killed on 24 in the show's 5 season run:

Tony
Michelle
Edgar
Nameless guy who chained Jack to the handrail in season 4 i think
Nina (yes, she was bad but she got hers in the end)
Chapelle
Lynn
Mason
Jamie
Carrie (Season 5)

Goverment People:

President Palmer
Mrs. Palmer
Paul Raines
Ex-Presidents Son

Who am I missing?

is it wrong to hope that Kim Bauer is next?

Tony isn't dead. That's all there is to it. They haven't even MENTIONED him in two hours, so there's just no way. God, even Edgar (who I like, okay?) had 10 minutes devoted to him in the next ep. We got a look at his poor, nerve gassed face while Chloe learned to breathe. [At least she got that look off her face for a moment! :) ]

Anyway, he isn't dead. Jack finished crying in one minute! The 13th ep ends right at 8:00 and at 8:01 on the 14th ep, they're covering him with the sheet. That body in the bag on the stretcher could have been Tony, but it could have been any one of the other 50 people who died. Coulda been Lynne.

And Jerry, it is not wrong to hope that Kim should be next. *crosses fingers and starts praying again*

Tony is not dead. I totally believe that he is alive! How could the writers of 24 kill him off like that? I think its lame and stupid and if he really is dead, shame on the writers for such awful writing!

he is dead just face it. tony won't be in anymore 24 episodes unless they mention his name.
