Wegmans to stop selling tobacco in all forms
Kudos to grocery chain Wegmans for announcing they will stop selling tobacco products in February. That's interesting news - I wonder if PA stores will also follow along. I hope so.
I can also understand the opposing view that, at least in New York state, they still will sell alcohol. If you're going to stop selling one for health reasons, they should probably stop selling alcohol as well, that too can be a health risk.
All we really need is a comprehensive smoking ban in PA, like there is in Ohio and New York. Those states seem to have figured out the issues and people still go to bars. Hell, I'd go all the time if there was a smoking ban, and I bet that'd be the case for a lot of people.
